In 2018, I started on a journey to reimagine the legal notepad -- a product that has been around since 1888.  For a deep dive into the history of the legal pad have a listen to this 2005 story on NPR's Day to Day.  

Beginning with my first job as an associate attorney, I was always reminded to make sure I had a legal pad handy wherever I was.  As I continued my regular use of the legal pad in my legal practice I noticed two things: (1) mini skyscrapers of legal pads were forming around my office and (2) when I went to recap a meeting or call, some of the proverbial – who, what, when, why (and for us attorneys -- how long) were missing.  There came the inspiration for the Ultimate Legal Pad and the foundation for forming the Ultimate Notepad Company.

My goal with Ultimate Notepad Company is to create premium products that help our customers work smarter and inspire our community to always do the write thing.
